I was part of UOL’s 30th anniversary exhibition, “Traços do Futuro,” held at the São Paulo Biennial.
The show brought together 30 invited artists to imagine what the world will look like in 30 years, each from their own perspective on the future.
In my work, I started from the idea of a scenario in which we are increasingly immersed in technology, to the point where the boundaries between the digital and the human almost disappear. There is a sense of strangeness and suffocation in this fusion, but also an important counterpoint: the possibility that, even layered with so many artificial constructs, we are still able to feel emotion and reconnect with nature.

Fiz parte da exposição de 30 anos do UOL, “Traços do Futuro”, que aconteceu na Bienal de São Paulo.
A mostra reuniu 30 artistas convidados a imaginar como será o mundo daqui a 30 anos, a partir de suas próprias visões de futuro.
Na minha obra, parti da ideia de um cenário em que estamos cada vez mais imersos na tecnologia, até o ponto em que as fronteiras entre o digital e o humano quase desaparecem. Existe um certo estranhamento e sufocamento nessa fusão, mas também um contraponto importante: a possibilidade de, mesmo atravessados por tantas camadas artificiais, ainda sermos capazes de nos emocionar e de nos reconectar com a natureza.
